Community Outreach

At Houston Northwest Medical Center, we are dedicated to continuing our active role promoting the health of our north Houston neighbors. Each year, the hospital sponsors several community screenings and health fairs.
With the help from the Tenet Healthcare Foundation, donations have been made on behalf of our facility to several local organizations that include the local division of the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Cypress Creek EMS and the Lone Star College Foundation. The Tenet Healthcare Foundation conducts philanthropic grant-making on behalf of Tenet Healthcare Corporation and its hospitals. The Foundation also provides grants to various educational, social services, civic and humanities-supporting organizations nationwide.
