The core of the nursing department is a culture of quality. The culture of quality and safety permeates each nursing area. It is not by accident that our quality scores related to AHA’s core measures are among the highest in the community.
Our STEMI program has the honor of being recognized by the American Heart Association as having commendable field to intervention times resulting in saving lives in our community. The Rapid Response team is in place to support the nursing staff and to implement early interventions to rescue patients whose condition may have clinically changed.
Our nursing staff is fully engaged in the culture of quality. The nursing department utilizes evidenced based nursing practices to continuously improve care and nursing skill sets. The culture of quality is not easy and nursing works with their colleagues from other disciplines to holistically provide the very best patient care.
