Houston Northwest Medical Center and several local Chick-Fil-A restaurants are joining forces to host a toy drive benefiting Northwest Assistance Ministries. Beginning November 1 and going through December 3, unwrapped, new toys can be dropped off at the hospital and the following Chick-Fil-A restaurants:
· 2920 Kuykendahl, 5905 FM 2920 Road in Spring
· Champions, 7007 FM 1960 West in Houston
· 249 at Jones Road, 21622 Tomball Parkway in Houston
“The combined efforts of this toy drive will help make the holidays special for children in our area,” says Drew Kahn, chief executive officer at Houston Northwest Medical Center. “We appreciate the opportunity to team up with Chick-Fil-A and share the holiday spirit by supporting such a worthy cause.”
The toy drive is a continuation of Houston Northwest Medical Center’s commitment to supporting programs that enhance the quality of life in the community. In 2008, the hospital donated more than $15,600 to support Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) through food and toy drives, as well as the annual Jeans and Jewels fundraiser. NAM is a nonprofit, community-based, multi-program social service agency that strives to supply basic human needs through neighbors helping neighbors.
