Little tin horns and little toy drums, rootie-toot-toots and rum-a-tum tums, curly head dolls that toddle and coo, elephants, boats and kiddie cars too.
It’s that time of year for Houston Northwest Medical Center and several local Chick-Fil-A restaurants to once again join forces and host a toy drive benefiting Northwest Assistance Ministries. Beginning November 1 and going through December 3, unwrapped, new toys can be dropped off at the hospital and the following Chick-Fil-A restaurants:
· 5905 FM 2920 Road in Spring (FM 2920 at Kuykendahl)
· 7007 FM 1960 West in Houston (FM 1960 at Cutten Rd)
· 21622 Tomball Parkway in Houston (Hwy. 249 at Jones Rd)
Houston Northwest Medical Center is located at 710 FM 1960 West in Houston. A drop box for toy donations is available in the main lobby.
“Teaming up with Chick-Fil-A for such a worthy cause really benefits our community and can make a huge difference in a child's holiday,” says Linda Mercier, interim chief executive officer at Houston Northwest Medical Center.
The toy drive is a continuation of Houston Northwest Medical Center’s commitment to support programs that enhance the quality of life in the community. The hospital has made numerous donations to benefit Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) through food and toy drives, as well as the annual Jeans and Jewels Gala fundraiser. NAM is a nonprofit, community-based, multi-program social service agency that strives to supply basic human needs through neighbors helping neighbors.
