Each year the Auxiliary at Houston Northwest Medical Center awards thousands of dollars in scholarships to high school and college students.
The scholarships, which are funded by proceeds from the hospital gift shop, are given directly to local students. Scholarship candidates are graduating high school seniors or students who are enrolled in college or a medical training program pursing a medical or health-related career.
High school students in the Aldine, Klein and Spring school districts are eligible for scholarships. Applications are available through the schools’ senior counselors.
