No matter your struggle, sharing your experience and being around others can help provide strength and guidance. That’s why Houston Northwest Medical Center offers classroom space to several local support groups. Below are support groups that meet at Houston Northwest.
Bariatric Support Group (Surgical Weight Loss)
Available the 2nd Thursday of the Month 6pm-7pm
Mall Conference Rooms 1&2 (located behind the gift shop in the main hospital lobby)

Cancer Interaction (Dialogue) Group
Time: 7:30–9 p.m.
Location: Women's Atrium Boardroom
For cancer patients, their families and friends, this long-standing support group, in conjunction with the American Cancer Society, provides an opportunity to learn about cancer and share related problems in a warm, caring atmosphere. For information, please call (855) 997-7246.
Care, Share and Be Aware Breast Cancer Support Group
Date: Meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month
Time: 7–9 p.m.
Location: Atrium Board Room.
Share learning experience and give emotional support in aspects of breast cancer. Different speakers covering a variety of topics lead the group each month. For more information, call (855) 997-7246.
Diabetes Support Group
Date: Every 3rd Thursday of each month, January–November
Time: 6–7:30 p.m.
Location: Cardiac Rehabilitation department. We’re located in the main hallway inside the front entrance of the hospital.

United Ostomy Association
Date: The Tuesday after the 3rd Monday of each month
